My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of:Pa
I am in my fourth teir of unemployment and with every filing I have to call unemployment in order to get my money released from the Dept of Military Affairs. If I don't I don't get paid or its late. My problem is because of unemployment experiencing high call volume I virtually never get through the English line so my husband being bi lingual will call the Spanish line for me and for a few months this worked until once we got someone who spent more time telling us that this was the Spanish line and we should use the English line which as mentioned in an impossibility so instead of using that time to just release my unemployment we get lectured even though we explained how we do call the English line and they don't call back in the time they say.

This filing period I called the English line on Monday was told it was high volume and to leave my call back info which I did and a call will be returned no later than the next business day. No call back on tuesday as like always it did not happen so by Wednesday I'm placing a call into the Spanish line because the call back is a faster response but I don't receive a call till today which is Friday and already should have been paid my benefits on Wednesday. Some meeting must have taken place by now because the Spanish operator tells me to call the English line I can't use the Spanish line because I don't speak spanish I explained that I did call the English line on Monday and still no call back could you please just release my funds which are already late. Again I get a song and dance that I can not use the Spanish line and I tell her I understand but since your on the line anyway can't you just release the funds next thing I know I'm listening to a dial tone. Please tell me they can not do this. That it is discrimination for them to tell me I can not use the Spanish line because I don't speak spanish Is this country first language still not English. Is this legal Please advise who can I file a complaint about this too.
