    Default Timing of Issues Post-Foreclosure

My question involves a foreclosure in the State of: Illinois

Primary residence was foreclosed on in Oct. w/ big loss to lender; shouldn't I have received 1099c by now?

    Thanks much.

Not necessarily. If you're in a recourse state, the debt may not yet be "forgiven."
