This site deals with US law so I don't believe anyone will be able to help you. But given that they break out the cane for even minor offenses over there, you may be in for a few whacks. Courts the world around have heard the "I forgot" excuse. If Singapore's system mirrors the US, it doesn't matter if the shop pursues charges. You were arrested and charged, it's up to the system to sort it out now.

Not to mention the fact that this site does not refer attorneys even within the US - I seriously doubt that anyone here even KNOWS any attorneys in Singapore

In researching this issue, since it appears you got a station appearance, you may just have to pay a fine and that will be it. If you google shoplifting in singapore, you will find more information. The general consensus is that if you are humble and contrite, they are more likely to take it easy on you. Fighting it seems to create a greater likelihood of harsher punishment. But this is just google-chair advice, you may want to consult a local attorney.
