Next year, my job circumstances are going to change, so I will be going back to have the child support order modified. I live in Ohio, and I was wondering what all they take into effect when modifying it. When I got divorced, the kids stayed with me. Their father sat there and cried and moaned saying that he couldn't pay his bills and he was going to have to file bankruptcy. So, I finally gave in and let him get off paying 1/2 the amount of cs he was actually to pay. Now, he is moving, and recently bought a new car. When they look at my order, and he sits there and cries saying he doesn't have money, will they look at the fact that he has enough money to move to a more expensive house, and buy a brand new car? Also, he married someone that has 3 kids of her own. So obviously his money situation isn't too bad. Or will they not take pity on him and say this is what he is to pay and that's it? He makes 3 times more a year than I do. I only make about $12,000 and he makes almost $37,000. Any help would be appreciated!
