Default Am I Eligible for Emancipation in West Virginia

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: West Virginia
I have had alot of family problems over the past few years. My mother tried to commit suicide and my father was just released from rehab. I've been thrown around ALOT between parents and grandparents simply because they sy they dont need the aggravation and stress. My father has no job and lives at home with his parents. My mother is also in a rehabilitation program with no job or furniture in her house. I'm now 15 and I was wondering if i got a job now and started to provide for myself a little at a time until i turn 16 could I get legally emancipated?

Default Re: Am I Eligable for Emancipation

    No.

Emancipation is not granted on the basis of how bad you have it at home. It is granted, in the very, very rare situations that it is granted, on the basis of your having a proven record of already supporting yourself.
