Default 17 Year Old Leaving Home

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Louisiana
So my question is if you are the age of 17 and would like to move out of an abusive home; can you without them (parents or cops) making you come back?

    Background info:
I am 16 currently and I have been a slave for almost all of my life literally yelled and beaten on even my younger sister. My boyfriend wants me to get emancipated but I don't know how long that takes. I'll do either. Please someone give me the CORRECT answer... I've been searching for two years.. My last option is to go to the police station because I hate messing around with cops.. Please help.

    Here is the correct answer.

Unless you have the means to pay 100% of your own rent, food, clothing, utilities, medical care, transportation, insurance, staples, school fees and supplies, and all the other incidentals of life, alone and unassisted (that means not moving in with your boyfriend or his family or another friend or relative even taking an apartment with a roommate - you have to show that YOU can support yourself completely without help) and that you can do that while still going to school and getting better than average grades, emancipation is not an option for you.

If you are being abused, your recourse is to call CPS or whatever they call it in your state. In some jurisdictions (Louisiana is not one to my knowledge) if a 17 year old moves out the cops may or may not take any action, but there is NO jurisdiction anywhere in the US where the parents cannot force their minor child to return home. Until you are 18, and I mean not one minute younger, you live where your parents say you live unless you are forcibly removed from the home by the state.

If it's not bad enough to call CPS, then it can't really be very bad.
