Default What Are the Chances of Obtaining a Tourist Visa

    To whom it may concern,

I was just deported by US Customs & Border Protection 3 days ago in the port of El Paso Texas. Now that I am back to my home country, I'd like to seek for some advise of my case. Thank you very much.

    Here is my story.

I live in Juarez, Mexico. I was going to El Paso Texas on December 28, 2010, I was allowed to withdrawal my application for admission under section 212 (a) (2) (A) (i) (II) of the INA. Return to Mexico Verified.

At approximately, 1842 hours, I applied for admission into the United States from Mexico at the Paso Del Norte Port of Entry in EL Paso, Texas via Primary Vehicle lane #9 by presenting my duly issued Mexican Passport. I handed the document to CBPO officer and she flip thru the pages, she found a small green bag containing an unknown white substance. Consequently, I had VISA/BCC Cancelled.

Do I need to hire a lawyer? To clean my case?

I needed to admit all the above.
I was not in jail. I was not charge for possession.

I studied at El Paso Texas at the University, I already graduated but I only need one final exam to get my diploma! Is there a chance to cross just for that?

    Thanks! Before Hand!
    HAppy 2011!

As I'm sure you already know, that INA section relates to " a violation of (or a conspiracy or attempt to violate) any law or regulation of a State, the United States, or a foreign country relating to a controlled substance (as defined in section 102 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 802))" and renders you inadmissible into the United States. You should contact your University to see if there is a way to take that exam from outside of the country, or if there is some other way you can fill that requirement to get your diploma.
