Default Does the Federal Government exercise too much power in Australia?

Hi there, I'm in the South Matriculation Program from Taylors College and would like to find out more about the powers of the federal Government.

My stand is that the Federal government does exercise too much power in Australia. For e.g., John Howard holds majority in both 'Houses' and also because the Federal Government can decide on governmetn policies.

Any1 who has any extra information or would like to have a say, please reply this. Thank a bunch!!

Before we get more posts here about Australian law, can you tell us what this is really about? Three people, apparently from the same college and class, post general questions about Australian law, and this isn't for homework?

    hey dude,
this IS NOT A HOMEWORK !

If it's a homework... we will be having the same question.....
we are doing a RESEARCH on our topics..... We were ASKED by our LECTURER to participate in the forum and ask Australians... or any other people who knows about Australian law to give us some opinions.....

We are NOT Australians .... we don't know much about your country's law .... that is why we need you people's opinions......

    It's either u help or u don't help ....

As I previously indicated, if you wish to engage in this type of back-and-forth, take it back-channel or to a different forum. Thanks, Admin.
