My question involves criminal law for the state of: Kansas

Today I was at the mall with a friend and we went into a store and wanted to get wallets. We walked up the the wallets and chose the ones we wanted. A worker saw us pick them up and I walked over to wherethe jeans were near the entrance because I wantedto buy jeans and a wallet with my gift card I got. I didn't have enough money for both so I put the wallet down on the shelf (I chose to get jeans only). I wasn't gonna buy the watch so I left it there but while I was still looking at the jeans an employee came over and said "are you buying that wallet?" I said I'm thinking about it.(I had extra cash). So she took it back to the other wallets because she didn't want the store to be unorganized I guess.. But my friend was on the other side of the store and took the tag off his wallet..(he was gonna steal it). He chickened out on stealing it so he put it back with the other wallets and leftthe store without me knowing. I went to buy the jeans and on my way there the manager said where's your friend, he took a wallet. So she made me call him to come back and he did. The police showed up and he came back with anther wallet he just bought from another store for cheaper. (you can probably tell what happens). We went to the police office and talked, the manager came down after watching the video and said my friend handed me the wallet with the ripped off tag to me and I put it in the jacket I had around my arm. I didn't do that nor did he hand me a wallet. Now I am banned from the mall for a year and I have to go to court for this..

What will happen if the judge has a good eye and is smart about what he sees on the video? Or what if he is nearly blind haha..and is stupid, and takes the managers story?
