Default Who Pays Property Taxes on Foreclosed Property

My question involves a foreclosure in the State of: WI
I allowed my condo to be foreclosed in October of 2010 after 2 denied short sales by Bank of America. I did not pay into the escrow account at all in 2010. While the foreclosure went thorugh in October I just received my 2010 property tax bill for the foreclosed property. Am I responsbile for these taxes? What are the consequences of not paying this inflated amount? Thank you.

Default Re: Who Pays Property Taxes on Forelcosed Property

How is your tax bill "inflated"? It's your tax bill.

Normally when the property is sold the property taxes are paid off at closing, and even if they aren't the new owner is likely to pay them to avoid losing the property to a tax foreclosure, so you'll probably skate.
