My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Michigan.

I live in a duplex on a small private drive with 4 other duplexes, all owned by the same landlord. The rental agreement says sidewalk snow is tenant's responsibility, driveway is landlord's. Because we're on a private road, county trucks do not plow. Now, I'm wondering what (if any) stipulations there are for snow removal? I work mornings, and attend class in the evenings. Today I left for work and the driveway/road had not been plowed. Not a problem, it wasn't too bad yet. I returned home 14 hours later and it still had not been done, and the snow was much worse. I could barely make it to my driveway, and then almost got stuck in my drive because of the foot of snow. Is there a time frame the landlord must abide by? Thank you.
