Default Having Issues Extending a Visa Due to Criminal Record from Five Years Ago

Hi, i am a seaman working for a major cruise line for over 5 years based in florida. before that i was in the U.S with a j1 visa with my ex wife who is not a U.S citizen, when i was married to her i was taken to jail because of DV, and was bailed out the next day, my ex wife filed an affidavit through my attorney indicating that all happened because she was intoxicated and it was a complete misunderstanding, and i took an anger management class required for the court to dismiss the case, i have not been convicted and never appeared in court either.after i came back to my country i applied for a cruise ship job and afterwards a c1 visa for crew members in transit through the U.S i was placed under administrative processing and after 3 months i got my visa, same thing happened when i applied for my b1 visa and got that visa as well which is stilll valid.

After my c1 visa is expired i applied for the second one , and was placed under administrative processing for the third time which was not a surprise, they gave me a number at the consulate and asked me to follow up on their websites, and instructed to send my passport to get my visa when the number shows up on the website, which i did after 5 months of very stressful wait.they also asked me to send the police record where arrest has occured which i did as well as my dismissal document which i obtained from the county clerks office.

But they still have my passport it has been 25 days , i called them and they said that they are checking my documents, i am extremely nervous that my application could be refused, i recently purchased a house and have loads of payments monthly.

Do you think i will be refused this time, even though after the incident i applied for 2 visas and got them after security clearance?

    Thank you.

I doubt it, but only time will tell.
