My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Florida
My husband and I have decided to end our marriage of 2 years. During that time, we had a beautiful daughter. He has moved in with someone else and rarely drops by to see his daughter unless I call him and plead with him. He and I have discussed it and we've decided that our daughter will stay with me, solely. He has made plans to move to NY in 3 months. How fast can I get sole custody, uncontested, in the state of Florida? Child support is optional. I don't need it, however, he's agreed to pay if ordered to do so. But the biggest concern is getting the custody matter resolved before he leaves to a different state.
