I'm going to be a to the point as possible here:
While I was in the Army, I failed a drug test (like getting pregnant on the first time you have sex kind of thing) and it was positive for Cocaine. Happened to try it that weekend, the other people got caught and ratted me out.... fun, right?
I was never "arrested" or anything, and never had a court date, sentencing, etc.... never got in ANY trouble from this.
I have a copy of my background check and it says:
COURT-
CHARGE-ARTICLE 112(A) WRONGFUL USE OF COCAINE
SENTENCE-
NO ACTION 7/20/07
The question is..... since I was never convicted, got in any trouble at all from this, and it's the ONLY thing on my background check, can I still become a nurse in Florida?
Basically what I'm trying to figure out is if they "convicted" me or what the "final disposition" is (if exist on record)...
It says on the BG check: "An individual should be presumed not guilty of any charge/arrest for which there is no final disposition stated on the record or otherwise determined."
Please please help and let me know one way or another.
