My question involves business law in the state of: Pennsylvania
In September I sat for a well known IT certification exam. I was informed in mid October that I had failed the exam. I was later informed in mid November that an error had been made in scoring my exam and I did in fact pass the exam.
My contract with my company provides for a pay increase upon my completing this certification. The error in grading the exam has cost me almost a months worth of pay increase.
I have already written to the certifying company and asked them about the possibility of compensation for the lost wages. If they don't agree, do I have a legal claim for small claims court?
