    Default Lease Renewal Timeframe

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Ohio

Ok I have a one year lease and I moved into my apartment on Sept 1st 2010. It is now November 25th and my landlord wants to know by the 29th of November if we are going go sign for the 2011-12 year or I can potentially loose my apartment.
Is there any set timeframe that a landlord has to follow before they can ask/bully you into signing for another year? I haven't even been moved in for 3 full months yet O.o

    Default Re: Lease Renewal Timeframe

Your landlord can ask you at any time he chooses. If you decline to recommit, your landlord is free to start looking for alternative tenants and, consistent with whatever renewal or notice provisions are in your lease, to lease the unit to somebody else starting when your current lease expires.
