My question involves judgment recovery in the State of: California
I was awarded a judgment against my landlord for the return of my deposit after I moved out.
The defendant's name on the suit was a corporation (the name of the street + .inc), which is the name I wrote my rent checks to.
From what i understand she no longer owns the property (2 months later) and the corporation was likely dissolved.
I know that she owns another building nearby, that she also lives in, but is under a different corporation name.
Can I place a lien against her other property that is under a different name then on the judgement?
Thanks!
