My questions involve an arrest warrant from the State of: CA
___________________

Background: I'm a FL resident (but work for Orange County, CA company) who received DUI in CA July2010. FL D/L (and FL photo ID) both confiscated, issued the pink 30-day CA temp. Skipped DMV hearing, but appeared on criminal charges as required. DA did not file charges, so I got stamped proof of appearance from DA's office. I checked back w/DA once (14 days later), and followed that with weekly (through 13Nov) checks to the court's online case search database (in lieu of calling DA to "remind" them, as suggested by an attorney) for my possible rescheduled arraignment date. After numerous "No Records Found" searches, today's search finally displayed my case with an arraignment date of last Friday (!!) and my status as "fugitive."

While I realize that the court's online search is subject to errors/omissions, is it unreasonable to expect a record of my scheduled arraignment date to precede the one showing my warrant? Since I based my actions (using the court's online services) on the advice of an attorney, I'm hesitant to have him appear on my behalf on the warrant.

Since I'm a FL resident, I had them send me a duplicate license to use for ID purposes (it is still currently valid per State's online check, presumably pending the result of my criminal case.) Is it legal for me to retain this for uses other than driving (check cashing, motels, etc), or can it be confiscated in a search (I'm on search/seizure summary probation on unrelated CA case) of my person? Can I obtain a CA ID card as a FL resident? (I'm currently in CA for extended work period).

Am I correct to believe that my DMV suspension (in CA) of driving privileges began with my arrest, and that I now have 90+ days (of my 4-6 month suspension) "in the bank"? Or does that 4-6 month suspension begin upon my conviction on the criminal charges? Would FL DHSMV "credit me" for these nearly four months spent awaiting arraignment toward the (likely inevitable) suspension there?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, but thanks in advance for any assistance. LMK if other details are needed.
