My question involves real estate located in the State of: West Virginia

I am considering buying the lot next to mine. The current owner bought the property while she was single. She later married and the couple has been living on the lot for about 14 years. The husband is now in jail facing a very long prison sentence and the wife wants to sell the property to me. The deed is still in her single name. If I buy this property from her, is there any chance I could later lose it to the convict husband?
