My question involves criminal records for the state of: Ohio

I first plead intervention in lieu of guilt in 2008. My case was expunged when I completed my drug diversion classes. My case has been expunged since August of this year and yet I can still find it online. I've heard that it's because the major internet databases don't have to update any expungements. Is that true?

My main question is does anyone know what type of background check most non profit agencies use? I would hate to have a job turned down because of a drug offense from a few years back. Would they be more apt to use these online databases or a state run background check?

Thanks much
