Question Emancipation for a 16 Year Old Mother

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Nevada

I am 16 years old and I have a beautiful 18 month old daughter.
I went in for surgery for my jaw a few months ago, and my mom was signing off on it.
And we were talking about my daughter.
And the doctor who was there having my mom sign off everything said, "Wait, since you're 16 and have a child, you're technically legally emancipated."
So he had to print out new forms and have me sign them.

    Is this true?
Because Im 16 and have a child, that means Im legally emancipated in the state of Nevada?

and if so, does this mean I have all rights of an 18 year old, or what?

Default Re: Nevada. 16 Year Old Mother. Emancipation

    No.

It means you are MEDICALLY emancipated. These are two entirely different things.
