What exactly do you mean by "some legal trouble"?

Have you tried to purchase a firearm and been turned down due to your record?

What charge (statute) were you convicted of? (or, as the term is in Juvenile parlance, what offense was there a "true finding?")

If you have a felony conviction you will not be able to possess or purchase a firearm.

Possession of a knife that is over a certain size, which is generally 3.5 inches, is also usually a misdemeanor. No misdemeanor conviction, with a few exceptions in certain states, creates a disability to own firearms. Also, juvie convictions don't usually count.

I don't remember much about my case..I got arrested because I had a pocket knife on me and I was 14, I can't remember if I was convicted of a felony but since it was my first time ever..I got a year of probation and that was pretty much it, I saw the judge when my year was up..it took no longer than 5 minutes, I haven't gotten into trouble since.,the only thing I've gotten was a parking ticket back when I was 19...I haven't tried to purchase a gun cus I jus didn't have the money

That's not a crime ... unless it was at school, in which case it could be charged as a misdemeanor or as a felony.

If you have a felony conviction, oyu will not be able to purchase a firearm.

You might want to check and see what your criminal history says about you.

Nope, PC 626.10 is applicable for a blade of 4" on school grounds.
