Default Is Lease Valid if Wrong Date is Listed

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Florida

I signed a 7-month lease in April of 2010 and I'm trying to move out when my lease is up. However, I am only now being made aware that I had to give a 60 day notice. My roommate and I gave a 30 day notice. I asked for a copy of the lease and I noticed that the move-in date is listed as April 2009. Also, the date of the agreement is also listed as 2009. On every page where the date is listed, it says April 2009 instead of 2010. I was wondering if it is still enforceable with this type of mistake? My apartment complex is trying to get us to pay another month's rent to cover the 60 day notice even though we are moving out at the end of this month. Since it states (on every page of our lease) that the agreement was made April 2009 (when it is supposed to be 2010) does this void our lease?

Default Re: Is Lease Valid if Wrong Date is Listed

A minor clerical error on a lease isn't going to make it invalid. Everybody involved knows the date that was intended.
