Unhappy First Ticket after five years driving

Coming from NY I have fought many a traffic ticket. I recently moved to PA and now 4 months into my move I've gotten my first speeding ticket. I was going 75 in a 55 MPH zone. Truthfully, I don't know how fast I was going, but I'm pretty sure I was over 55. That being said my name was misspelled on the ticket (i see that isn't always a good defense). Being this is my first ticket EVER, what can I say in court that may sway the judge in my favor?

Before you ever even go to court you should check with the clerk's office to see if you can get a disposition that would keep it off your driving record so as to not adversely affect your insurance rates and/or talk with the prosecutor who is going to prosecute the case before you go to court or at least before you enter a plea in court to see what they would recommend. There's usually always a little room for negotiation.
