    Default Juvenile Conference Committee

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Virginia
Ok here's what happened: a few days ago the lights went out in my school and I threw a tray across the cafeteria which I know was really stupid. The next day I learned that the tray hit a girl and I appoligized to her and her parents are pressing charges. She has no injuries thankfully but I have to go to a juvenile conference committee. Will this affect my record and what are some things I should know to help me get in the least amount of trouble possible? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Please understand my position right now. Thanks in advance.

My position? I'm a student in high school if that's what you meant. I don't have any record with the law or anything.
