My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: CT.

I'll try to make this short. My fiance worked for a young girls accessories store. She recently quit to find another job because of "drama". The store has 3 other employees, all girls, all 22 and under INCLUDING the GM. There was hardly any store order and the GM was NEVER around when employees needed help. She always was calling out, not calling at all, and leaving all the responsibility to my fiance. She could only deal with that for so long... she never did anything wrong, never got in trouble, was friends with everyone, etc.

Anyways, my fiance has a friend who still works there that she visits maybe once a week. Recently, the friend got sick and needed to go to the hospital (ended up being appendicitis!) and was told by her GM that no one could cover her so she needed to work. SO- my fiance (who is no longer an employee), found out and contacted the rest of the employees to try and help out and get someone to understand and come cover for her sick friend. It worked, happy ending.. almost.

The GM just contacted my fiance saying that since she no longer works there, she is not to get involved with store business. She said it "made her look bad" as GM. Also, GM stated that my fiance is "banned" and if she tries to enter the store again then she will call security and have her escorted out. Is that possible? Can she really get away with that? It is just stupid drama.. that is getting taken too far. My fiance has NEVER been a disturbance, and I'd like to make sure we do the right thing at this point.. instead of adding to the drama.

The only "evidence" we have of the discussion is a text message saying everything I just wrote in the previous paragraph.

What should we do? Thanks for your help!
