My question involves paternity law for the State of: Kansas
I need to know what recourse I have to get my birth certificate corrected. My mother is deceased and she put a fake name on my birth certificate for both my mother and father in 1959 to avoid paying the hospital bill. I have located my real father and he is not denying he is my father.
It is imperative I get my birth certificate changed because I am now the heir of land with oil on it and I have to be able to prove I am who I know I am as an heir.
What can be done?
