Default Being Taken to Court by a Parent

Ok im 16 and im being taken to court for threatning my dad although nothing serious but taken serious and now i have to go to family court in a few day..... the situation is that i was i guess you would say convicted of shoplifting months ago and my last court date for that was maybe 4 months ago. If i was good for a year or 6 months or something like that they would keep a sealed record and now i want to know if this will come up in court and my record won't be sealed anymore. My father didnt know about the shoplifting and i want to know if that would be brought up in court and such. Please Help!

Records are never sealed to the court. They see all. Yes, it absolutely could come up in court; particularly in regard to the sentencing, since you've been in trouble before. That doesn't mean it's unsealed - the general public still couldn't find out about it. But anyone in the courtroom could certainly learn that this isn't your first run-in with the law.
