    Default IID Device Installation

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Oregon and Indiana.

I am currently going through a first-offense diversion for a DUII in Oregon. I do not own a car and am currently living in the State of Indiana. My license is suspended for a year b/c of a blood test refusal...suspension lifted in June 2011 by Oregon. Here is my question: do I have to install an IID if I'm not actually CONVICTED of a DUII? Based on the successful completion of the diversion program, a first time DUII isn't technically a conviction, so I shouldn't have to get an IID, correct? That is my understanding anyway...I have a lawyer in Oregon and one in Indiana and my Oregon attorney is not very helpful.

Can anyone advise me on what to expect in June? Thanks!

Are you talking about being sentenced by the court to use an IID in association with the criminal charge, or are you talking about an entirely separate administrative proceeding? With the order for the IID already being in effect, or what?
