My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Oregon and Indiana.
I am currently going through a first-offense diversion for a DUII in Oregon. I do not own a car and am currently living in the State of Indiana. My license is suspended for a year b/c of a blood test refusal...suspension lifted in June 2011 by Oregon. Here is my question: do I have to install an IID if I'm not actually CONVICTED of a DUII? Based on the successful completion of the diversion program, a first time DUII isn't technically a conviction, so I shouldn't have to get an IID, correct? That is my understanding anyway...I have a lawyer in Oregon and one in Indiana and my Oregon attorney is not very helpful.
Can anyone advise me on what to expect in June? Thanks!
