Default Do I Have the Right to Legally Kick Roommate Out

My question involves a roommate in the State of: Texas My husband and I own a house and allowed my sisters ex to move in to get on his feet. We didnt force him to pay rent just pay for supplies such as his own food and laundry soap. He has not been paying for his own things and when I saw the guest room that hes living in its very gross. Im expecting a baby in feb. and now that the room (which was going to be used for the new baby) has to be redone (new carpets etc.) I want to know how i can legally get him out and fast. Also there is no written agreement on living arrangements only my husband telling him he has till jan to get out (before we knew we would be expecting and before we knew the room would have to be redone. Are we stuck with him till jan?

I suggest you familiarize yourself with landlord/tenant law in your state and start the eviction process.
