Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ohio

I wasn't the one with the Paraphernalia my two friends were & they got charged with that while I got charged with using it(same misdemeanor). It is all of our first offenses and our court date is set for Monday Morning. The officer that charged us said we have a good chance of getting expunged and or getting the charge lowered in court since it is a college town(OU). Our question is what is the best way to go at in court, plead guilty or no contest?

If you want to work out a plea bargain, plead "not guilty" until you've worked out the deal. Once you plead guilty or "no contest" (which is treated by the court as a guilty plea) you can no longer plea bargain.
