Default Credit Card Lawsuit - Should Information on Exhibit Be Redacted

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Ohio

Hi! I was hoping someone could help me with an Ohio Credit Card Dispute. I have been sued by a Debt Collector and wanted to get some feedback.

The complaint uses a redacted account number and redacted original account number on a re-written "contract" (basically my name and address with their company info. at top) along with some amounts that may be correct, I am not sure.

Are acct. numbers normally redacted? and can I use it for the basis of my defense?

Thanks for any help you can give,

    Jason in Ohio

Default Re: Credit Card Lawsuit - Should Information on Exhibit Be Redacted

It's typical to redact such information, and is increasingly required, to prevent identity theft from publicly available court records.
