Default Re: Medical Collection - Providers Billing Incompetence

I contacted Medicare and BCBS and both stated they never received a claim from the provider.
IF the provider is contracted with BCBS, (and Medicare is aware of the secondary insurance information) Medicare would automatically forward the claim to BCBS after they paid their portion. The provider does not file the claim.

ETA: I knew this thread sounded familiar. After viewing your posting history I found you previously stated:

The forth provider billed BCBS as the primary and were paid but later BCBS rescinded the payment. The forth provider then billed Medicare who held it "pending COB" and never paid the claim.
Sooooo...Medicare DID have the claim, but held it pending COB. Your beef should not be with the provider, it should be with the Medicare representative who gave you erroneous information.

In the future, please keep all questions about this situation to one thread.
