Suspected of MIP at a Tailgate Party

My question involves criminal law for the state of: California

I was at a tailgate this weekend when police walked up to me and asked me for my name and birthdate, I gave them that information.They were trying to say I was drinking, I did not have any alcohol in my hands and I walked away because they did not say to stay there. I then was told they were looking for me and were going to take me to county jail I got scared and left (not smart I know). Do you think they are going to pursue me and come to my class and ticket me or send me something in the mail? Or maybe drop it?...They never legally detained me...Im just stressed. Thanks
