I wanna know something... If my partner is illegal in the country, how can the marriage be legal? I mean he is illegal! I had a visa when I marry him, but I stayed on the country for 3 years after it expires. I left the country 2 years ago. I have been trying to contact diferent law firms in MD but none has answer back. I contact the USA consulate in Mexico and they said that for me to get my divorce done I need to contact a lawyer there to take care of everything but they wont grant me a visa for 10 years because I stayed longer than the period I was supposed to. Now, how can I get my divorce done if nobody wants to help me, neither the consulates, neither law firms?? And how come the marriage is legal if we were illegaly in the country?? I mean how does the court takes that?? I really need an answer because I wanna get that done, I would love to get married again in the future but how will I do it if I dont get help from anyone. I am more than whiling to pay a lawyer but they just dont wanna help me, and the USA consulate said that they can do help me. Now, why is it that nobody wants to help??? Is there any lawyer in this site that is whiling to help me get my divorce done once and for all??? PLEASE!! I am too young to not be able to redo my life with someone worth it
