My question involves a reckless driving ticket from the State of: Georgia
I was on a road trip, came off a 70mph highway, got lost, found myself in a 45 that quickly turned into a 35 at a point when I thought it was going back up in speed. I came into the area too fast, and next thing I know what I thought was a simple ticket was a reckless driving charge. I received a speeding ticket as well, am 22, have 1 prior ticket, from 5-6 years prior. Massachusetts license/registration. I have heard that I may be able to pay the speeding ticket and have the reckless charge dropped, but I'm not sure. I know I might need to lawyer up, but I'm just wondering if anyone has a similar experience and can give me some insight. Thanks.
