Default Reinstatement Fee for an OVI Reduced Charge

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Ohio

My OVI charge was reduced to disregard of safety, 4511.20. I was given an ALS at the time I got my ticket. A friend of mine also had an OVI reduced to reckless operation. She did not receive an ALS. Any thoughts on why this would be? It makes a $475 difference in the reinstatement fee. She paid $40 and I have to pay $515.

You've given us no information on how your case might differ from hers, so we have no way of telling you why you got the administrative suspension while she did not. It's possible that she was just lucky.
