    Default Reentry After Deportation, I-212

I hope someone can give me an advice. Thank you in advance!

I am a US citizen, and in February of 2010 my brother was denied entry into US at the board of entry in Chicago. He had a B-2 visa for 10 years. After hours of interrogation his visa was canceled, he was deported and also received a 5 year ban for future US visits. He was in a relationship here and it was his 3rd visit to US. At the entry he was suspected of working here illegally. The last two visits he was here for almost 6 months, but never overstayed his allowable time. He did not work in US, and he didn't have any problems with the law. His girlfriend is an US citizen and they want to get married and live together here in US, but they don't know what is the fastest way to achieve that. Please advise...
Also, he did not receive any written information from the USCIS officer regarding the reason, all he has from that day is the stamp in his passport. And they used his return ticket to deport him without his consent. I don't know if that matters, but thought that I should mention it.

    Thank you!

It's time for him to retain an immigration lawyer to investigate his case and advise him as to the possibility of challenging the ruling or seeking a waiver.

Yes, that advice should help - I don't know why I didn't think to come up with that solution. Thank you for taking the time to write it!

If anyone else has other information, I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you for reading my post.

We don't know the specifics of his case, and from the little we know about it his position is bleak. I don't know that a lawyer can do much for him, but you've given us nothing to work with.

Young people normally have to work to support themselves. Frequent and long visits certainly are suspicious.
