My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: Maine
[INFO]
I've made a pair of terribly bad decisions: I've run a red light, and I've been pulled over for criminal speeding.
I'd like to make a point that I am not 18 yet. I have no excuses for my actions, and accept the punishment and fines for both. These did not occur on the same date, however they are fairly close to each other. I was not arrested, and my 6 months had been up for an extended period of time.
[QUESTIONS]
What I'd like to know is, my license will be suspended for the first crime, and for the second, will these suspension times stack on each other?
(Example): First crime's suspension is for 2 months. Court rules that I be suspended for 2 months for second crime.
Will this add up to 4 months?
How will the court feel towards 2 crimes like this?
Does the state of Maine give any options such as defensive driving courses/community service/essay of safe driving to reduce fine/points added? I've heard that some states have options like these supposedly.
Also, I've researched this, but as a second citation I'd like to ask what I should do when I go to court. Dress appropriately and appear clean I already know, but what should I say?
Thank you for helpful replies.
