My question involves criminal records for the state of: Michigan
Forty years after two felony convictions, 2 years in prison and 40 years free of any trouble with the law, I am thinking about a pardon. I have become an educated respected professional since that time. I have kept the record of my past a secret, knowing it would be a detriment to my success in life. Question- is it worth the expense to apply for a pardon? The consensus on this site seems to be that no one is granted a pardon in Michigan. Thoughts?
