Default How to Drop Charges of Assault and DV

Hello, I would like to drop the charges of DV and assault, his court date is tomorrow. Who can I call to drop the charges? TODAY.

They did not need to take any photos of bruises or anything. Had me fill out witness statement .

His best friends girlfriend called the cops.

I read I cannot drop charges of DV? Is that true?

    What about the assault?

What will happen to him ?

Please hurry thank you, will be on.

Default Re: Drop Charges of Assault and Dv Answer Quickly

Prosecutors are generally disinclined to drop DV-related charges as the victim often recants even when the violence did happen (as apparently you want to). Society is harmed by allowing violent people to go unpunished regardless of the wishes of the victim.
