My question involves real estate located in the State of: New York
There was a previous post relating to a neighbor encroaching/excavating over my property line. Long story short, I reached the surveyor who did our survey when we bought the property and told him the longer version including my suspicion the pin was removed by a contractor (I had at one point several years ago actually seen the pin). He looked at the map and said he'd be out our way next week and would look for the pin and reset it if necessary. If it needed to be reset (it does, believe me - it's not there) the cost would be $100. Is that reasonable?
