I have been on court supervision for almost a year now....I am at college getting my degree. I recieved this supervision back home in Illinois but I violated a city ordinance for disorderly conduct at my school which is also in Illinois.
I have been reading up online about how ordinances are just civil tickets and non-criminal offenses but I'm scared this will come up in court and they will enter a conviction because of this city ordinance violation.
I go back to court this summer and I was wondering if city ordinances count against court supervision when I will be returning to court this summer to hopefully have the charges dismissed.
Thanks for the help cause this could ruin my life if I have a conviction that cannot be expunged from my record
