Default Non U.S. Citizen with a Bench Warrant

    Hi!
    Here is my situation.
About two years ago I was charged with Home invasion 2nd degree and sentenced to 11 months in Jail and 3 years probation. I served my time and got out, and then since I am not a US citizen, two months later got picked up by immigration. I managed to get a voluntary departure from the judge and left the US by purchasing my own ticket. About two weeks later I found out that my P.O., who knew everything about my situation have put a bench warrant for my arrest. I called him and asked him to remove it but he said that he can't do that and that if I ever come back to the US, I'll have to call him and then we'll go to the judge and just restart my probation. He was quite sketchy about it and even told me that if I don't land in Michigan, I am not even gonna be picked up. Now let me get to the bottom of my issue.
I may have the opportunity to start work in Mexico. I have a brand new passport which I got from my home country as soon as I arrived because my old one expired, and that new passport has a new number.
Will I have any troubles entering Mexico (once again not through the US) considering the fact that I have a felony and a bench warrant for my arrest from the US but also the fact that I am not a US citizen. You see, the paradox here is that my bench warrant apparently is for absconding probation, but I haven't absconded anything because I was ORDERED TO LEAVE THE US WITHIN 30 DAYS by the immigration judge and I have that order in writing.
So I would greatly appreciate if someone here can answer my question at least to some extent.
    Thank you!

You need to pose this question to a Mexican immigration lawyer or Mexican immigration authorities.

Yes, you would need to talk with a Mexican Immigration Attorney ASAP. They should be able to help you, I had a friend who experienced something similar when he had a DUI. It took him longer than 30 days to resolve, but it worked out just fine in the end. I wish you the best of luck!
