    Default J1 Expired

    Hi everyone,

    I'm currently an exchange student with a J1 visa, which expired on August 31st. However,
    i gonna go back home in September.

    Is"t abselutly legal to live U.S. within next 30 days after J1 visa was expired???

    During the 30 day grace period:

    You may not apply for admission to the U.S. in J-1 status.
    You may not apply for a program extension.
    You may not apply for employment authorization.
    You may not work or study.
