Default Traffic Ticket in California for Nv Resident

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: CA
    Hello, PLease help me.
    I am a Nevada resident.
I was driving on a highway in CA with the speed of traffic, following a car in front of me and being followed by other cars with the same distance for awhile. Everybody was going around 80mph. Then we passed a cop parked on the side of the road and everybody, including myself, started slowing down. The cop started his car, got on the highway and pulled me over. He issued me a ticket for going 81mph in 65mph speed zone (thats exactly 16 mi over - a break point for getting 3 points on the record). I never saw the actual radar record, but Im pretty sure I wasnt going 81mph, esp considering the fact that I slowed down.
Now I have 3 questions involving the ticket:
-can I fight the cited speed? I dont have any record of radar readout.
-can I find a lawfirm to turn it into a parking violation, considering the fact that I live in Nevada (NV drivers license) and the ticket was issued in Moreno Valley, CA?
-if not, what is my course of action, provided its hard for me to appear in court in CA? My main goal is to avoid getting points on my driving record.

Most of the time, by the time you slow down, it is already too late. Officer has you on Radar.

Actually you do... The officer wrote indicated your speed as being 81mph on the citation, did he not?

By the way, the officer is under no obligation to show you the Radar reading... In fact, most of the time, (and in the interest of your safety and his) it is against policy to do so.

Actually, that strategy very rarely works in California... But you're free to call a few attorneys in Moreno Valley and ask around. Some offer free consultations.

You can try and contest your citation by using the "trial by declaration". Search the court's website for more information...

Alternatively, you can opt to take a traffic school course and upon completion, the citation will be dismissed which means you avoid the citation appearing on your record or having any points added onto it.

if you dont want to appear, pay the ticket in accordance with the ticket's instructions ... you will not win a trial by mail.

Did it not say your options on the paperwork?
