My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Maryland
My landlord recently began using a property management company for the home that I'm currently renting. The roof started leaking a few weeks ago in heavy rains. I called the management company to request a repair and they had a contractor contact me directly to set up a time for them to come out and repair the roof and any interior drywall damage. I don't want to have to wait around for this contractor, and I also don't want to be there while they're doing drywall and painting repairs. Isn't it the responsibility of the management company or landlord to come out and meet the contractor and supervise his work?
