Default Upstairs Neighbor Won't Give Access to Inspect Plumbing

i own a condo, the unit above Is rented by its owner. My ceilings started leaking on the 25th of this month. My repairman needs access to the unit above to inspect if there is a leak before repairing damage to my unit. The tenants above refuse to allow him to inspect. Can I call the police and tell them Ive had a leak and the repairman needs to inspect that unit?

No, you need to contact your condo board/HOA.

The police won't even bother to come out, they can't do anything anyway.

    The board is your option.

You don't have any inherent right to access someone else's property.

In case it's not obvious, she got to 10,000 posts by making that many posts.

Other than your wanting to hear incorrect information, that the police will care about whether your upstairs neighbor lets your repairman into her unit, what are you complaining about?

Presumably you have bylaws and community rules. What do they say about access?
