    Default Shoplifting Walmart in Pennsylvania

My question involves criminal law for the state of: PA

Me (18 years old) and my friend (17 years old) got caught shop lifting at walmart. They brought us in the back, no cops were involved, and signed a paper saying we can't be in any walmarts and she told us we will be getting letters about a court date or whatever happens. We are both first time offenders and I stole 76 dollars worth of stuff and my friend stole 94 dollars worth of stuff. What should we do? What about public defenders and how do we get one? Also, is there a type of ARD or probation group because I do not want it on my record and ruining my job opportunites. Someone please tell us the best advice to do. Should we plead guilty or not guilty? Thank you :]

Plead Not Guilty. Ask for a Public Defender.

Also, in the mail, you will be expecting a Civil Demand, make sure you pay it.
