Default Will a Liquor Store Prosecute a Shoplifter

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Kentucky

I stole twenty dollars worth of liquor from a pharmacy store. Will the store call the cops and have them look at the camera if they see that I have stolen something? And what are the chances of the cops determining whether or not it was me who stole it? No one around me actually saw me doing anything, so what are the odds that people were on the cameras and actually saw me?

Default Re: Caught Stealing Liquor - Will The Store Call the Cops

If the store identifies you as a thief and has video of you stealing, I would expect them to call the police. But you're requiring us to make a lot of assumptions.

Your best bet if you don't want to get arrested for stealing? Don't steal.
